This office contains a complete tract index of all real property in the county, an abstract or microfilm copy of every instrument ever recorded in the Office of the County Recorder, and copies of Village and City Plattings.
These records, coupled with many other aides and informational files, provide the basis for preparing abstracts of title, title searches, title insurance and settlement closing services. This office has been the leader in providing settlement closing services for the attorneys, lenders and real estate agents in Minnesota and North Dakota, and lender's from out of state.
